Isaiah 59:2 – Your Sins Have Made a Separation

The children enjoy singing this song because the music emphasizes what the verse is saying.

Isaiah 59:2 reads, “But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, And your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He does not hear.” NASB

As you sing the word “separation”, be sure to break the word into 2 parts. Separate the beginning of the word from the end of the word to emphasize what is being sung. Do the same thing when you sing “between you and . . . . . . .your God.”
